On the 23rd of November the School launches Kyiv Legal Empowerment Practical Programme (Kyiv LEPP) – innovations’ incubator in the field of A2J. This year we look at the innovations through the ‘role of (non)lawyers in inclusive access to justice ecosystem’   It was extremely difficult to choose the finalists in the competition. Semifinals gathered 9 teams of innovators from different countries. Each team offered a practical solution in the field of A2J in their country. The Kyiv Legal Empowerment Practical Program enables intellectual cooperation of the experts in access to justice from all over the world on an annual basis. Role of (Non-) Lawyers in the Inclusive Ecosystem of Justice as the Theme of Next Kyiv LEPP Programme 2020

The Programme Council of the Kyiv Legal Empowerment Practical Program suggests treating inclusive access to justice as joint responsibility. It is shared by everyone who wishes to change and effects such changes, including lawyers, mediators, paralegals, care works and others. Paralegals will be of use where it is not clear whether the issue is legal, and it will be forwarded to the necessary service. Care workers will help settle the issue comprehensively since social issues generally have a legal context.
