Participants of #KyivLEPP2020 Idea Incubator had been developing projects intended to enhance access to justice in five countries of the world throughout the previous week. They “passed” their ideas through the design-thinking methodology which which you can immerse in an issue of access to justice, define target groups, focus yourself, review alternatives to the problem solving, secure your ideas with crash test, and make presentation of the same upon the cycle completion.
On Monday, the last day of the program, teams presented ultimate versions of the decision prototypes that have been worked out during training.
Kenya has developed the promotion plan for the alternative dispute resolution web-platform to be used by everyone.
Kyrgyzstan has formed a network of specialized para-lawyers who could be helpful for victims of family and gender-based violence.
Two teams from the Northern Macedonia have arranged the paralegal mobile office for distant townships and the advocatory campain to prevent blocking of social bank accounts.
A joint team of Ukraine and Poland presented the international communication platform for students, mentors, and customers of legal clinics in both countries.
At the end of the event, the program supervisor Kateryna Yeroshenko told how exactly participants would be assisted with implementation of their projects:
“We said during the course that we were ready to support solutions that met SMART-criteria, were the most developed, focused and realistic ones. Your presentations under crash test have showed already that all teams realised their targets and strategies. We have decided to support all ideas”,
