North Macedonian team is looking for a systemic solution to prevent the blocking of social bank accounts, which will allow vulnerable communities not to remain below the poverty line during quarantine:

Zoran Bikovski is Sociologist with 19 years experience in Roma NGO sector. Zoran has rare pleasure to work at the same time as a researcher and also to work as a practitioner on the field, directly with Roma community. Since the 2011 year is Program Health Coordinator in NGO,,KHAM” Delcevo responsible for the implementation of the program, Legal Empowerment and Social Accountability. Like results of his work and work of the team of NGOs “KHAM” have visible results in advocacy on the local and national level, improving the condition of the Roma community in access to Health services. Changes in the community are visible and greatly affect the exercise of the right to health of the Roma community. Through legal empowerment of the community, it has increased its knowledge in the area of patient rights and social rights and communicates with health professionals and social workers with much greater confidence  In period 2014-2017 year is President of Macedonian Platform against poverty (97 NGOs). Since February 2015 is a Mentor for Romanian and Bulgarian NGOs who work in the field of Social Accountability. Like Practitioner is very connected with Roma Community and  Roma leaders which gives him any opportunity to strengthen the community and advocate for the advancement of the rights of the marginalized. Author is of a lot of research articles about quality of services of Institutions on the local level, labour exploitations and marginalized groups, implementation of Law for Education and Social Policy Law e.t.c.
Mejrema Memedova Is a person who has High School completed In Delchevo city and then started her personal upgrade with the seminars and trainings implemented by NGO “KHAM” – Delcevo and from many other NGO’s. Also, she has been part of trainings implemented by AECOM for Technical Assistance in Project Management and Monitoring of which she has obtained a European recognized certificate for management, monitoring, and administration of  European projects. She started with job in NGO ,,KHAM” – Delcevo since 01.01.2016 as an assistant of Educational program, and then since 01.08.2017 she was advanced as Coordinator of the Educational program in NGO ,,KHAM”. Also, she has worked as a coordinator of the project “Move your Finger” that was implemented one year, then she started with engagement as an assistant of the Health program in NGO “KHAM” on which she works to this day. She is engaged as paralegal worker in Delchevo since 2018. She is very close to the Roma people, and she knows their problems best. Also, she is engaged as mediator on the project that is implementing by the Ministry of Labor and Social politic – “Inclusion of Roma children in Kindergarten” since  2017.
Muarem Amedov finished education: High school – Gimnasium.
“From November 2017 -member in NGO Kham-Delchevo. Started as a Local facilitator in Vinica within the project, Providing of paralegal support for the Roma community in Vinica”. The project is financed from FOSIM Macedonia, and I work like Paralegal. My obligations are: Field work, cooperation with Roma families, cooperation with local institutions, advocacy for the rights of Roma, preparation of documents for the families in order to achieve their rights for health and education, preparation of complaints for some cases, managing of data base with cases, reporting, etc. From October 2018 Coordinator for education in Primary School “Slavcho Stojmenski” in Vinica. My obligations are : Field work, cooperation with Roma families, cooperation with primary schools, working for decreasing of the drop out of the students and to improve their regularity in regular classes, identifying the core problems of the children and support them and their families, field work for enrolment of the students in primary education, meeting with the parents, meeting with the teachers, preparation of reports and list of evidence for the progress of the students, etc.”
