Registration for the Second Selection Round of the Legal Empowerment of Public Organizations Training Course is Open

The Ukrainian School of Practical Knowledge on Access to Justice within the Pro Bono Lab Program announces the second selection wave of registration for the free training course of Legal Empowerment of Public Organizations. Public organizations and social initiatives from all over Ukraine may be engaged in the selection.

The essential eligibility criterion for the course students is a real problem of a public organization or social initiative that may be solved by means of the educational process. Each organization as being checked-in should also choose the topics in which it requires to get additional knowledge from the Ukrainian and international law business experts. Among the topics to choose are: internal document management of a public organization, gender equality and absence of discrimination in a public organization, agreements of a public organization, procurement in a public organization, etc. Full list of the topics and registration for competitive selection are available at link: https://tinyurl.com/y4cvoe6d

The training program will be generated directly on the requests of potential course students. The training is expected to begin in the 1st half-year 2021.

This is the first in Ukraine completely free training course for public organizations from the Ukrainian and international law business experts.

We remind that we launched training for the first group in the Legal Empowerment of Public Organizations course on 9 September. It includes 31 public organizations from all over Ukraine.

The course’s mentors are law companies and experts involved in the training course as assistants of public organizations. Each topical unit has its own mentor who uploads a video class, gives learning material, checks up homework and gives recommendations as to further activities of a public organization.

Please note:

Eligible participants will be able to work on theoretical leaning materials in all topics, namely video classes and notes thereto.  However, practical recommendations of how to complete the homework (handling and processing of the organization’s internal documents based on the topic – protection of personal data policy, code of ethics, organization’s agreements, etc.) may be given to the participants only within the topics assigned in result of competitive selection. So do consider this when filling in the check-in forms.
